<p>The invention concerns a tension strut (10) for a McPherson suspension, comprising a lower element (12), or slide, which is mounted on a wheel hub support (14) by its lower end and which includes a substantially cylindrical upper section (72), and an upper element (42) mounted articulated on the body (20), or the chassis, of the vehicle, wherein the lower slide (12) is mounted sliding relative to the upper element (42) along a geometrical suspension axis (A-A), and wherein a shock absorber (26) and an elastic suspension element (8) are axially (A-A) interposed between the lower slide (12) and the upper element (42). The invention is characterised in that the upper element (42) is an axially sliding (A-A) steady bearing receiving internally the upper section (72) of the lower slide (12).</p> |
