<p>The invention concerns a method for producing an ultra-flat box for a press insert, capable of resisting a load of at least 15000 N and having a thickness less than about 2 mm, while being capable of receiving a cast pasty product in sufficient amount. The inventive method consists in combining a box made of thermoplastic material having a peripheral edge whereon a sealing film is welded. In the illustrated example, the box (10) comprises a housing (14) for receiving a cast pasty product, said housing being limited by a base (11) and a lateral flank (12f) of a peripheral edge (1) raised relative to the base (11) having planar and parallel upper surface (11s) and support surface (11a). The edge (1) has an upper surface substantially parallel to the base (11) for receiving a welding seal (20) covering the housing (14) of the box and is urged to be welded on the edge upper surface. The relative radial dimensions of the edge (1) of the box (10) made of thermoplastic material are proportioned to resist a considerable load.</p> |
