摘要 Invention pertains to the field of dairy industry and particularly to production of fermented milk products as well as functional food products. A new microbial strain R-7 of Lactobacillus helveticus is isolated and used in the preparation of said products. The new strain R-7 is a fast fermenting strain which improves also a taste and consistency of fermented milk products. The strain can be used in preparation of food additives also for animals and birds.
