<p>A method for realizing the backup of the data service includes: the user of the device only needs to designate the port numbers of the master port and the spare port and the relation between the master port and the spare port for the ports with the same bandwidth on one data communication exchanger over the link layer; the relation includes 1+1 backup and the redundant backup; it can decide the port backup to take the port numbers and the relation as the parameters of the port backup setting. In this manner, the link configuration for the master port will synchronize to the spare port automatically and the automatic real-time undamaged backup of the data service on the link layer port can be realized. When the master port has failure, it is triggered by failure alarm and it is ensured to automatically switch. This backup manner is not restricted by the type of the data service and is a backup method which is transparent for the data service over the transmission layer.</p> |
