COMPRESSION GARMENTS MANUFACTURED WITH REFERENCE TO A PERSON'S BMI (BODY MASS INDEX)

A method of manufacturing a compression garment for clothing a body part of a person, the compression garment including a first panel of material. The method includes the steps of: a) selecting a desired compression to be provided for the body part by the compression garment; b) determining the size of the first panel based on the person's body mass index; and c) manufacturing the garment using the first panel of material so that the garment creates the desired compression in the body part in use.
