Disclosed is a compound of formula (A) where the substituents are as disclosed in the description. Examples of compounds are [2-(4-benzoxazol-2-yl-piperazin-1-yl)-5-oxo-6,7 -dihydro-5H-5 lambda 4-thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidin-4-yl]-(tetrahydropyran-4-yl)-amine; (R)-2-{ 2-[4-(6-CHLORPYRIDAZIN-3-YL)-PIPERAZIN-1-YL]-5-OXO-6,7-DIHYDRO-5H-5 lambda 4-THIENO[3,2-D]PYRIMIDIN-4-YLAMINO} -3-METHYLBUTAN-1-OL and (R)-2-[2-(4-BENZOXAZOL-2-YL-PIPERAZIN-1-YL)-5-OXO-6,7-DIHYDRO-5H-5 lambda 4-THIENO[3,2-D]PYRIMIDIN-4-YLAMINO]-3-METHYLBUTAN-1-OL. Also disclosed is the use of a compound of formal (A) for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of a respiratory or a gastrointestinal disease or complaint; or an inflammatory disease of the joint, skin or eye; or cancer; or a disease of the peripheral or central nervous system, a respiratory or a pulmonary disease which is accompanied by increased mucus production; or an inflammatory and/or obstructive disease of the respiratory tract, COPD, chronic sinusitis, asthma, Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, depression, bipolar or manic depression, acute or chronic anxiety state, schizophrenia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, acute or chronic multiple sclerosis; acute or chronic pain; and brain damage caused by stroke, hypoxia, or cranio-cerebral trauma. Further disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of formula (A).
