PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sorting facility capable of returning a horizontal sash to its normal position even when deviation of its position is large. SOLUTION: In this sorting facility, a positional deviation correction device 101 for correcting deviation of the positions of the horizontal sashes on a sorting conveyor 31 provided with a guide space part S for book by the horizontal sashes 45 arranged in the front and rear of upper and lower faces of an endless belt body 44 is arranged on an upper part side more than a book supply position. The positional deviation correction device is provided with a detection sensor 103 provided on the sorting conveyor to detect a plate body 102 to be detected and detect the conveyor, a horizontal sash detection means 104 arranged on a lower part side by predetermined distance from the detection sensor to detect the horizontal sash on a lower face of the sorting conveyor, a detection operation instructing part 113 for outputting a detection operation signal into the horizontal sash detection means by inputting a detection signal from the detection sensor, and a positional deviation correction instructing part 114 for eliminating positional deviation of the horizontal sash by outputting operation signals into a turning force providing means 61 when the device determines that the position of the horizontal sash is deviated by inputting output signals from the horizontal sash detection means.
