PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling device capable of filling a highly viscous liquid object to be filled into a different-diameter cylindrical container with a small-diameter part connected with the top part of a large-diameter part by mixing no bubbles into the container, and also to provide a filling method used for the same. SOLUTION: An adhesive W is made to pass a gap 71 and pass the internal space 57 of a valve case 31 and the internal space 23 of a nozzle 9 and is filled into the internal space 4 of the container 3 through a nozzle hole 21 from the small-diameter part 7 side in a filling process. Air in the internal space 4 of the container 3 is sucked and is exhausted through an air suction path 15 in a suction process. Since the inside of the container 3 is in an almost vacuum state, the adhesive W is filled into the internal space 4 including that of the small-diameter part 7 without involving air. Accordingly, the adhesive W is filled into the container 3 in a state of completely preventing the mixing of the bubbles. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
