PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pallet and a stopper that securely prevent displacement, rotation, falling of rolls during transport, have less possibility of damage to rolls, greatly improve roll transfer efficiency, and make it possible to transfer many rolls accommodated in a container, and to provide a roll transfer method that makes it possible to load many rolls substantially most densely in a container by means of the pallets and stoppers, thus remarkably reducing distribution costs. SOLUTION: The pallet 10 is used to transport many rolls 7 accommodated in the container 20 in upright positions and is an approximately circular as viewed above. The peripheral face of the pallet alternately has four horizontal parts 1 including pairs of horizontal faces 1 opposite each other in a radial direction and approximately arcuate parts 2 including pairs of approximately arcuate faces opposite each other in a radial direction. The approximately arcuate faces are substantially identical in shape to the peripheral face of each roll 7. Stoppers 6 are used to fix the pallets within the container 20.
