A primer is provided to detect Yersinia entericolitica, one pathogenic microorganism of food poisoning, using various techniques such as a real time polymerase chain reaction(PCR) without a culturing step of the Yersinia entericolitica, thereby being used to detect the contamination degree of a food. A primer for detecting Yersinia entericolitica comprises at least one primer pair selected from the group consisting of a primer pair consisting of a primer of SEQ ID : NO. 11 and a primer of SEQ ID : NO. 12 and a primer pair consisting of the primer of SEQ ID : NO. 11 and a primer of SEQ ID : NO. 34. A method for detecting the Yersinia entericolitica comprises a step of detecting the Yersinia entericolitica through PCR such as multiplex PCR using the primer for detecting the Yersinia entericolitica. A kit for detecting the Yersinia entericolitica comprises the primer for detecting the Yersinia entericolitica, a reaction buffer solution, dNTP and Taq DNA polymerase.
