ORGANIC DEVICE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic device which securely prevents short-circuit between layers and has little defective pixels in the organic device comprising at least one organic layer. SOLUTION: The organic device is provided with an anode 11, a light emitting layer 12 consisting of the organic layer and a cathode 13. The light emitting layer 12 is sandwiched between the anode 11 and the cathode 13. A pixel end face of the anode 11 and the light emitting layer 12 is exposed and it is formed as a continuous face. The cathode 13 is made in the same size as the light emitting layer 12 or is made smaller than it. The anode 11 and the cathode 13 are prevented from being shorted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
