PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position recognition device that can accurately display the current location on a map even during a travel on a road with a bank.SOLUTION: A position recognition device recognizes the current location of a movable body and includes a storage part, determination means, and current location determination means. The storage part stores map data including information on a bank provided on a road. The determination means determines whether or not a traveling road on which the movable body is traveling has a bank on the basis of the information on a bank in the map data.
