The present invention relates to a dishwashing detergent with improved rinsing performance, containing, with respect to the total weight of the dishwashing detergent, 0.1 to 25.0 wt.% of an alkaline aqueous composition comprising water glass (M2O · n SiO2) where n = 1 to 7, wherein M is selected from the alkali metals and/or quaternary ammonium compounds, and at least one organosilane (A), wherein on each silicon atom the at least one organosilane (A) carries 1 to 3 non-hydrolysable substituents having at least one primary amino group. The invention also relates to the use of said dishwashing detergent and a method for machine dish-washing using said dishwashing detergent, and the use of the alkaline aqueous composition for improving the rinsing performance of a dishwashing detergent.
