PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device capable of performing bidirectional optical transmission while securing a desired isolation voltage and suppressing increase in size and cost.SOLUTION: A bidirectional transmission part 3, including an optical coupling element 31 for a gate signal and an optical coupling element 32 for a state signal of signal transmission paths 31d, 32d of opposite directions, is interposed between a mounting surface 1a of a control circuit part 1 and a mounting surface 2a of a gate drive circuit part 2, which are positioned opposite to each other. In the optical coupling element 31, a light emitting element 31a is mounted to the mounting surface 1a and a light receiving element 31b is mounted to the mounting surface 2a. In the optical coupling element 32, a light emitting element 32a is mounted to the mounting surface 2a and a light receiving element 32b is mounted to the mounting surface 1a. At peripheral sides of each of the light receiving element 31b, 32b of the optical coupling element 31, 32, cylindrical shading walls 31f, 32f, enclosing the peripheral sides by projecting from the mounting surface 2a, 1a, are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
