<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which connection conditions can be confirmed with compact structure and maintaining air-tight, with a simple operation and effectively in a narrow working space when connecting a pipe with a small diameter of not greater than 40mm to equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The connector for connecting a small diameter pipe is comprised of an inner diameter for fitting the small diameter pipe, a connecting tube for connecting to an elastic tube, a front cylindrical part, and a rear cylindrical part with a little greater diameter. A notch remainder prepared in the rear cylindrical part forms a tongue-like elastic claw wall provided with an engagement wall at the tip section to urge inward. A notch action formed in the longitudinal direction at the side of an enlarged diameter ring incorporated via a pair of notch windows installed near the notch of the rear cylindrical part, and a groove for guiding the enlarged diameter ring, and the dust-proofing cap covering the rear cylindrical part facilitates the engagement or fitting of raised sections which are symmetrical to the upper side and the lower side, and formed at an inner surface at the end of dust-proofing cap with the recess (or an engaged step) formed at the periphery of the connector main body rear cylindrical part corresponding thereto. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
