A mobile communication terminal having a panorama photographing function and an operating method thereof are provided to combine a photographed image and to generate a panorama image without transmitting the photographed image to outside and performing a special editing process, thereby greatly improving the convenience of a user. A mobile communication terminal having a panorama photographing function comprises the followings: a camera(20); a memory(50) which stores an image, photographed through the camera(50), and a panorama image; and a control unit(10) which displays a combination location with a first image when photographing a second image according to information data detected from the first image and generates the panorama image by combining the second image on the basis of the first image.
