Insect repellent

Cosmetic preparation (A) comprises repellent-active substances with a vapor pressure of at least 3.2x10 -> 4> hPa at 20[deg]C and particulate fillers with specific surface area of greater than 0.2 m 2>/g. Independent claims are included for: (1) a cosmetic comprising a packaging tool from polyethylene, polypropylene or polyethyleneterephthalate and (A); (2) use of fillers for lengthening the effective duration of the insect repellent active substance of the cosmetic preparation and reducing the stickiness in the cosmetic preparations during the application on the human skin, the human hair and/or during their storage in the packaging tools; and (3) a plaster or cloth soaked with (A).
