<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dipole antenna with a reflector which includes a reflector and can perform communication in a desired wide area by using an RFID tag, and also to provide a reader-writer device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The reflector 2 has such a shape that a cylinder is cut from the central axis into a shape having a fan-like cross section. The dipole antenna 1 is arranged parallel to the central axis outside the half-cut cylindrical shape of the reflector 2. The center of the antenna 1 coincides with the center in the longitudinal direction of the reflector 2.
