PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patient detection system for detecting movement of a patient such as whether the patient rises or gets away from the bed (wheelchair), and for confirming security and ease against an invader from the outside. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a patient detection system 1 wherein an infrared camera apparatus is used, image processing is performed by a computer and an image is transmitted to a video monitor after a nurse call.
