A tool holder turret is provided to maximize efficiency of an electric motor, to preclude seizing-up of the motor, and to reduce manufacturing cost. A tool holder turret(1) comprises a fixed base body, a tool holder disk(4), locking units(7,9,12), operating units(11,14), and control units. The fixed base body has a cavity extended along a longitudinal axis(X-X). The tool holder disk rotates about the fixed base body. The locking units lock and release the tool holder disk. The operating units operate the locking units. The control units move the tool holder disk, and include electric motors(16) having stator elements(18) arranged concentrically with the longitudinal axis, and rotor elements(17) arranged concentrically inside the stator elements. The stator and rotor elements are installed in the cavity of the fixed base body.
