An optical scanner is provided to obtain superior image quality by maintaining a sum of length changes of beam source flanges and power changes of first and second optical systems smaller than the depth of laser beams. An optical scanner includes a beam source(10), a first optical system, a diffraction optical member(101), a refraction optical member(102), and a second optical system. The first optical system includes a collimator lens(20) and a cylinder lens(30) between the beam source and a polygon mirror assembly(40). The diffraction optical member includes a diffraction part on a beam path of the first optical system. The refraction optical member includes a refraction part on the beam path of the first optical system. The second optical system implemented between the polygon mirror assembly and a photosensitive medium(70) includes at least one F-theta lens(50) transmitting laser beams from the polygon mirror assembly.
