PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique to appropriately predict the service life of a renewal component. SOLUTION: A usage processing part 14b detects the usage of the renewal component and reflects the detected usage in a used component management table 200 of an EEPROM 17. A prediction processing part 14c predicts a period until reaching a limited value of the renewal component in a component master table 100 based on the cumulative counted value in the used component management table 200 and the previous counted value. A state information generating part 14d generates data of a status sheet including a prediction time corresponding to the predicted period, and a functional part control part 14e makes a printer function part 12 output the status sheet.
