PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a module for optical communication for suppressing the leakage of a high frequency signal by stably fixing a receptor on a casing, and to provide a container for the module for optical communication. SOLUTION: The module for optical communication includes: the receptacle 20 provided with an optical element in the inside and having a projection part 22; the casing 30 for storing the receptacle 20; and a pushing fixture 10 having an engaging part 14. The engaging part 14 locks the casing 30 while the pushing fixture 10 pushes the projection part 22 of the receptor 20 on the casing 30.
