PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having user identification capability.SOLUTION: An image forming device can receive data showing biological characteristics of a user from an identification part. The image forming device can also acquire information associated with the user from a storage part. The information includes information specific to the user and data showing a stored version of the biological characteristics of the user. Furthermore, the image forming device can determine that the user is registered based at least on a match between the received biological characteristics and the stored version of the biological characteristics. In addition, the image forming device can display part of the information specific to the user on a display part of the image forming device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
