PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation unit which enables increase of a filtering area to improve the ventilation performance, achieves airtight performance and sound insulation performance, and has a function that enables visual check of filter exchange timing.SOLUTION: A ventilation unit (10) of the invention is installed in a through hole provided at a building and includes: a cylindrical body part (11) which is fitted in a through hole (1) and has a ventilation passage part (11a); a lid part (12) which is provided so as to form a gap between itself and the body part (11) and disposed at a building inner side; and a cover part (13) covering the gap between the body part (11) and the lid part (12).
