PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a problem caused by false detection of a sensor safely and at low cost in setting of a transfer mode for running a substrate transfer device.SOLUTION: In a substrate transfer system, when determination means determines that detection of transfer completion of a printed circuit board W by work-out detection means 5a is good, a transfer mode is set at a high-speed transfer mode and when the determination means determines that detection of transfer completion of the printed circuit board W by the work-out detection means 5a is no-good, the transfer mode is set at a normal transfer mode. In setting of the transfer mode for running the substrate transfer device, under operating conditions where it is determined that the work-out detection means 5a appropriately detect export completion of the printed circuit board W, the transfer mode is switched to the high-speed transfer mode. On the other hand, under operating conditions where it is determined that the work-out detection means 5a does not appropriately detect export completion of the printed circuit board W, the transfer mode is maintained at the normal transfer mode. |
