PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembling work efficiency of a lash adjuster.SOLUTION: A pusher 50 and a spring material 70 are accommodated in the low pressure chamber 43 of a lash adjuster. When the pusher 50 is located on a valve closing position, a cover part 51 is biased in the direction of closing the through-hole 17 of a rocker arm body 11 by the spring material 70 and a valve body 45 maintains the state of closing the valve hole 42 of a partition wall 38. When the lash adjuster 30 is mounted, the cover part 51 is pushed by a tool 100 that is inserted to the through-hole 17, the pusher 50 is moved to the valve opening position side and, on the valve opening position, the valve body 45 is pushed to the top end of a pushing part 52 and, thereby, and is separated from the valve hole 42 to open the valve hole 42. |
