PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent forming defects during vulcanization by preventing the rubber biting into between the molds.SOLUTION: The method for producing a tire comprises a vulcanization step for vulcanizing a green tire 1L in a vulcanization mold 17 in which, by assembling a first mold 17A and a second mold 17B, a border line 18 between the first mold 17A and the second mold 17B appears on a tire forming surface 17S, and the method further comprises a recess forming step for forming a recess 21 at the portion facing the border line 18 on an outer surface 19 of the green tire 1L before inserting the green tire 1L into the vulcanization mold 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
