A node belonging to the database system according to the present invention is provided with: a database management unit which manages a second database synchronized with a first database managed by another node; a write set reception unit which receives a write set that is transmitted from said other node, and that includes information allowing identification of the contents of an update made on the basis of an update instruction issued to the first database, as well as allowing identification of the data unit or units to be updated; a pre-update log generation unit which, before the second database is changed on the basis of the write set, generates a provisional transaction log indicating a provisional log of changes to be made to the second database, on the basis of the write set; and a post-update log generation unit which, after the second database has been updated, generates a final transaction log indicating a log of the changes that have been made to the second database. |
