PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal polyester resin composition that can obtain a desired molding that excels in thermal insulating properties and high thermostability.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a foaming body comprises as follows. A resin composition that includes a liquid crystal polyester that includes repeating units of formulas (1), (2), and (3), wherein a content of a repeating unit including 2,6-naphthylene group is 40-75 mol% based on 100 mol% of the total amount of the total repeating units, is performed by melting/kneading with a foaming agent comprising a supercritical fluid, then is formed while foaming by lowering at least one of pressure and temperature of the foaming agent below a critical point of the foaming agent. |
