<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery high in capacity and excellent in cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous secondary battery includes: a negative electrode containing a conductive assistant while using at least one alloyed material and graphite as an active material, the alloyed material being selected from an element capable of being alloyed with lithium by charging and a compound of the element; a positive electrode; and a nonaqueous electrolyte. In the nonaqueous secondary battery, an oxide of the element is contained as the alloyed material, the alloyed material is combined with the conductive assistant, the ratio of the alloyed material in the total amount of the alloyed material and the graphite is 1 to 13% by mass, and an average particle size of the alloyed material is 2/5 or less of that of the graphite. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
