PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die and a method for forming a hollow molding in which time of a molding cycle is shortened in the case of producing the hollow molding and also both forming of a split body and melt-stuck joining of the split half bodies after forming are simultaneously performed in such a state that injection amount of resin is not changed but is constant. SOLUTION: The movable die 1 can be moved in the vertical direction and in the lateral direction for a stationary die 3. In a first position, molten resin injected and poured from a first and a second respective resin pouring gates 35, 37 is respectively supplied to molding spaces 21, 23 and split half bodies of a hollow molding are formed. Simultaneously, the molten resin is supplied to grooves 29 in the circumference of the already formed split half bodies 25, 27 and the split half bodies 25, 27 are mutually melt-stuck and joined and a hollow molding is completed. The movable die 1 is moved from the first position to a second position in which the split half bodies formed in the molding spaces 21, 23 are mutually joined. Injection operation is similarly performed and both forming of the semisplit bodies and melt-sticking and joining of mutual split half bodies are simultaneously performed. |
