<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing the clogging of a transfer material due to the attaching to a fixing member even when image formation is performed on the low rigidity transfer material such as a relatively thin paper and reducing the curling of the transfer material after fixation. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device 100 has at least first and second image forming modes which respectively correspond to the high rigidity and the low rigidity of the image forming transfer material and is constituted so that the usage ratio of a toner having the same hue and a relatively low concentration is low in the case of image formation in the second image formation mode for the image formation on the lower rigidity transfer material as compared to the case of image formation in the first image formation mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
