The invention relates to a process for preparing a material with regenerative properties, used as bone substitute material in the orthopedic and oral and maxillofacial surgery. The claimed material is prepared by carrying out, in a first step, a porous ceramic structure ofβ-TCP, by precipitating in distilled water solutions of 30% concentration of ammonium hydrogen phosphate and calcium nitrate tetrahydrate at 38°C, for 60 min, while stirring at 800 rpm, at a controlled pH of 8...8.5, filtering, washing and drying for 12 h in a cabinet dryer, followed by calcining at 800°C for 2 h and preparing a ceramic suspension with a solid content of 75% by homogenization with sodium polyacrylate and polyethylene oxide, impregnating a polyurethane foam, drying, sintering and sterilizing the resulting porous ceramic structure, then, in a second step, the ceramic structure is screened on sieves with meshes of 45...125μm, 125...250μm, 500...1000μm and 1000...2000μm, there resulting a reproducible material of resorbableβ-TCP as four size-types, with apparent densities within the range of 1.186...0.7905 g/cm.
|
