PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air screw driver device, simple in structure, easily reduced in size, and having excellent durability. SOLUTION: In this air screw driver device, when screw torque reaches a torque preset value, the supply of compressed air to an air motor 3 is shut off by a screw torque control mechanism 6 and a shut-off valve mechanism 7 to fasten a screw member with predetermined fastening force. The screw torque control mechanism 6 includes: a clutch part 61; a driving pin 62, the back of which is provided with one clutch plate 61a adapted to move in the axial direction by relative rotary differentiation of clutch plates 61a, 61b when the screw torque reaches a torque preset value; a cylinder 63 accommodating the driving pin 62; a chuck valve 64 interlocking with the driving piston 62 through oil filled in the cylinder 63 to operate the shut-off valve mechanism 7; and a torque control member 65 for regulating the torque preset value.
