Method for acquiring print quality parameters of a print product

The method involves detecting an analyzing field (22) of a print product by a detecting device, and determining an actual value of a print quality relevant parameter from the analyzing field. The actual value is compared with a reference value of the parameter, and a macro-detecting image of the analyzing field is recorded by a camera (21) including a macro-lens. The actual value of the parameter is determined from the image by an image processing method for testing whether the analyzing field is printed in a qualitatively effective manner.
