<p>The method involves providing a test framework, which determines performance characteristics for the set of tool kits. The tool kits are determined based on determined parameters of performance characteristics, which include correctness, speed of processing, central processing unit-load factor, static random access memory and dynamic random access memory, power usage, number of threads, handles and processes. The parameters are determined by functions of the several tool kits by platform-independent wrappers. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for the selection of a cryptographic tool kit (2) an application of a test framework, in particular for the execution of a method for selection of a cryptographic tool kit and the utilization of the system.</p> |
