<p>A decorative illumination 1 includes at least two light sources of different colours and at least one optic fibre 6. A controller 4 varies the brightness of each source to mix the colours. Preferably the light sources comprise red, green and blue LEDs 5, which can synthesise the full spectrum of colours. The light can be used as part of a hair decoration (16, fig 6), clothing (13, fig 5), a drinking vessel (24, fig 9A), a toy (28, fig 10), indoor decoration including Christmas trees (42, fig 19), or a hand tool such as a brush (62, fig 24A). The optic fibre can be supported by a ductile wire (36, fig 15A).</p> |
