PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of quickly transmitting data by having a server distribute transmission data to a plurality of facsimile machines. SOLUTION: The facsimile transmission system 1 comprises a server 10, a plurality of multifunction peripherals 20, 30 and 40 connected to a public line and a multifunction peripheral 50 not connected to the public line, and the multifunction peripherals 20, 30, 40 and 50 are connected with the server 10. The multifunction peripheral which reads an original transmits data to the server, and the server selects one multifunction peripheral from the operation state of the multifunction peripheral 20 and transmits the data.
