PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a display unit which can mount a semiconductor device without damaging quality, and is good in manufacturing efficiency. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a display unit 10 includes a step to temporarily fix a semiconductor device 21 to a predetermined position of a positioning jig 40 by a strippable adhesive 32, a step to position the positioning jig 40 to which the semiconductor device 21 is temporarily fixed and a substrate 50 for semiconductor device mounting so that the semiconductor device 21 faces the predetermined position of the substrate 50 for semiconductor device mounting, a step to adhere the semiconductor device 21 to the predetermined position of the substrate 50 for semiconductor device mounting by depressing either of the positioned positioning jig 40 and the substrate 50 for semiconductor device mounting by another side, and a step to remove the semiconductor device 21 adhered to the predetermined position of the substrate 50 for semiconductor device mounting from the positioning jig 40.
