PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion type static eliminator wherein it is prevented that positive ions and negative ions are bonded again, the number of ions are thereby reduced during the time from when the positive ions and the negative ions are generated until they are mixed, and a time for static elimination becomes long. SOLUTION: This ion type static eliminator is equipped with a positive ion conduit, a negative ion conduit, a positive ion generator provided in the inside of the positive ion conduit, a negative ion generator provided in the inside of the negative ion conduit, a blower fan which sends air into the positive ion conduit and the negative ion conduit to allow the positive ions generated by the positive ion generator to blow out of the outlet of the positive ion conduit and to allow the negative ion generated by the negative ion generator to blow out of the outlet of the negative ion conduit, and a blow-off port to which the outlet of the positive ion conduit and the outlet of the negative ion outlet are connected, and which mixes the positive ions blown out of the positive ion conduit and the negative ions blown out of the negative ion conduit and blows them toward an object from which static electricity is to be eliminated.
