METHOD FOR SEARCHING DESTINATION OF TREE STRUCTURE AND SYSTEM THEREOF

A method and a system for searching a destination in a tree structure are provided to offer a search result with a tree structure by assigning POI(Point Of Interest) relation in name search to prevent a long name from being cut and hidden in the name search, and enable a user to understand a location of an entrance of an apartment as well as the location of the apartment by providing a search result of which the POI relation is set between the apartment and the entrance. A database(1010) stores map data for searching a destination and various kinds of data for searching the destination in a tree structure. A relation assigner(1020) assigns relation between POIs by analyzing the map data, and discriminating DP(Display Point) coordinates and GP(Guide Point) coordinates of the POI based on an analysis result. The DP coordinates are a point of a name displayed in a screen and the GP coordinates are the point of the searched destination. The related to assigner assigns the relation between the POIs with type classification when a plurality of same names are searched in the same area in the name search. A search result provider(1030) provides a search result with a tree structure in name search according to the POI relation.
