PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent uncomfortable sounds caused by an operation cord and catching of the cord on the surroundings through a simple structure. SOLUTION: The window shutter set on the outdoor side of a window opening part to be opened and closed by a sliding door includes the operation cord 11 having one end connected to the lower end side of a shutter curtain and including a hanger sling 12 provided at the other end. The hanger sling 12 includes a plurality of locking projections 14, and when the shutter curtain 9 is opened, the hanger sling 12 at the lower end of the operation cord 11 suspended from the lower end side of the raised shutter curtain is engagingly locked by a screen part 16 of a screen door 6 provided in the window opening part through the locking projections 14.
