PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of stably moving a bundle of sheets from a stapler after stapling operation regardless of the number of sheets constituting the sheet bundle or a conveying resistance. SOLUTION: When a bundle of stapled sheets are moved in a direction for retreating from a stapler by a stacker, alignment rollers are brought into contact with the sheet bundle held by the stacker, so as to assist the movement of the sheet bundle.
