The invention relates to a rolling bearing assembly for rotatably mounting a shaft (4) or similar in a housing (8), comprising an integrated bearing seal that prevents a pressure difference from one bearing side to the other bearing side. The assembly comprises an inner bearing ring (6) that is located on the shaft (4), an outer bearing ring (10) that is situated in the housing (8) and a bearing sealing ring (20) that bridges the annular gap between the inner and outer bearing ring. Said bearing sealing ring (20) is mounted on the shaft (4) to move freely by means of a sliding fit that forms a flow-restrictor gap (22), the end face (24) of the outer bearing ring (10) that faces the bearing sealing ring (20) being designed as a sealing face, against which the outer edge region of the bearing sealing ring (20) can rest in a sealing manner. This permits an axially short seal, which can cope with even a large pressure difference, to be achieved for the rolling bearing assembly.
