The vehicle has a battery unit (1) connected to an electrical system of the vehicle. Electric connections (2-4) are provided at an upper side, a lower side and a right side of the battery unit and another battery unit is connected by the connections. The units are electrically connected in series or parallel. Each unit has respective cooling channel, where coolant is flowed through the channels. An electrical machine is operated as an electric motor in the vehicle. The unit (1) has fluid connections (5-7) that connect the unit (1) to a cooling system of the vehicle.
