<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-assemble mesh fence capable of being obliquely set in such a manner as to be installed in a staircase pattern depending on an inclined plane. <P>SOLUTION: A mesh fence includes a plurality of steps of horizontal support wire rods 31 which are bent to be protrusive in a plan view, a support 3 which has three or more vertical support wire rods 32 brought into internal contact with the inside of the horizontal support wire rod 31, and a lattice metal mesh 4 in which vertical net wire rods 42 and horizontal net wire rods 41 are fixed in a lattice shape. In the lattice metal mesh 4, the horizontal net wire rod 41 abuts on the two vertical support wire rods 32 of the support 3; both ends of the horizontal support wire rod 31 are fitted between the vertical support wire rods 32 on which the horizontal net wire rod abuts and the vertical net wire rod 42; and both ends of the two upper and lower sets of horizontal support wire rods 31 are sandwiched between the horizontal net wire rods 41 or fitted in so as to sandwich them, respectively.
