<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose acylate film having high developing properties for optical characteristics, strong reversed dispersion, a small haze, a small dimensional change in a moist-heat environment and a low production cost. <P>SOLUTION: The cellulose acylate film comprises a cellulose acylate and a sugar ester compound having 1 to 12 pyranose structures or furanose structures in which at least one hydroxyl group is esterified, and shows retardation satisfying expressions (1):40 nm≤Re(550)≤60 nm and (2):100 nm≤Rth(550)≤140 nm, a dimensional change rate satisfying expression (3):-0.5%≤ä(L'-L0)/L0}×100≤0.5% in a film conveyance direction and in a direction perpendicular to the film conveyance direction, and an internal haze of 0.1% or lower. In the expressions, L0 represents a film length before the film is kept at 60°C and relative humidity of 90% for 24 hours, and L' represents a film length after the film is kept at 60°C and relative humidity of 90% for 24 hours and further subjected to moisture conditioning for 2 hours. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
