Provided is a manufacturing method for electrodes for high-capacity, stable storage batteries. In the method, which inhibits a mixture for forming the active material layer from becoming strongly basic, a first aqueous solution is formed by mixing a basic active material into an acidic aqueous solution comprising an oxidized derivative of a first conductive auxiliary, a first mixture is formed by drying the first aqueous solution and reducing the oxidized derivative of the first conductive auxiliary, a second mixture is formed by mixing a second conductive auxiliary with a binder, a third mixture is formed by mixing the first mixture and the second mixture, and the third mixture is coated onto a collector. Gelling of the binder is inhibited by attenuating the strongly basic properties of the mixture for forming the active material layer. |
