PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer body that has excellent transferability and high durability.SOLUTION: An intermediate transfer body at least comprises: a resin base material layer 21a; an elastic body layer 21b that is laminated on the outside of the resin base material layer 21a; and a surface layer 21c that is laminated on the outside of the elastic body layer 21b. The surface layer 21c is composed of a polyimide resin including specific polyimide having a constitutional unit represented by the chemical formula (1) as a main component.
